How I came to Love "Da Cor do Pecado"

Paco and Preta were the main reason I started watching Da cor do Pecado (Shades of Sin). Truth is, I liked Tais Araujo since a previous soap, "Anjo Mau", and I was happy to see her again in a new soap. But when I learned she would be co-starring with Gianecchini, OMG...I almost had a heart attack, because that man is gorgeous...I had a crush on him since I watched "Lazos de Familia", so this was a match made in heaven for me. Wow...couldn't wait. It's like someone read my romantic dreams and turned it into reality.
I was busy at the time it aired, so I caught bits here and there but i never really watched a whole episode. But I have to say, from the bits I saw, all this romance from the first episodes turned me off a little. At the time I was so tired of novelas, as they were showing 3 soaps per day. So I really never gave this soaps a chance.

A few years later, after I travelled to another country, I got the chance to see it again. Surprisingly, it was better than I had imagined, and it kept getting better as it progressed. And did you see those kisses? DAMM...There were many things that I overlooked at first, and that I love now. In the end, you can't help but smile...and wish you could see them all again. If Youtube videos and websites are any indication, this novela has many fans around the world. If you're a "Da Cor do Pecado" fan, my question is: What is it about this soap that makes you love it?
